About Aggelos Spatiotis

Qualified accountant with over 10 years of experience in the fields of Accounting & Finance, initially under the role of External Auditor in a Big4 Audit firm and thereafter under the role of accountant in Thenamaris (Ships Management) Inc, a leading Ship Management company. From October 2013 onwards, Aggelos has undertaken a supervisory role within the Accounting department of Thenamaris being responsible for the performance and the development of a team consisting of 9 accountants of different academic backgrounds, skills & expertise. A recent organizational change brought company's core Invoices' checking team under Aggelos' supervision increasing the team to 16 people. Aggelos possesses strong accounting as well as Management & Financial reporting Skills and sound Knowledge of both IFRS & US GAAP with application mainly into the Shipping Industry. Over the last four years, he has been involved in various projects both departmental & cross departmental mainly relating with reengineering of existing processes and procedures and ERP selection and implementation supporting their successful completion either under the role of Project Manager or as a core team member. He is specialized in the Shipping & Energy Sector
