About Agnes Amaral

Undergraduate student in International Relations at the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB). In the academy, I had the opportunity to participate in several study groups on various topics, such as internationalization of public policies and gender discussions. I participated in a process of initiation to lecturing in the discipline of Ethics and International Relations. In addition, I have constantly acted as a researcher on the topics that interest me most: public policies, environment and gender. These academic activities developed mainly critical reading, writing and research skills. Both in Portuguese and in English. I made a cultural exchange in the city of Vechta/Germany for one year. This activity provided me the opportunity to expand my contact network, to develop my German and English, as well as cultural skills and presentation of seminars in other languages. I participated in volunteer activities involving mainly the education of high school students from the United Nations Simulation Project of Paraíba (SIPEM and PBMUN). I worked for two years in these projects. Initially as director, when I researched, produced and assisted in the theme of combating trafficking in persons. Later, I helped in the administrative process of production and organization of the event as administrative secretary. Besides these recurrent activities, I worked temporarily in translation and language teaching and, briefly, in the sales area. Email: agnesmfamaral@gmail.com
