About Agnes Rako

As Advisory Co-leader at KPMG, I’m passionate about blending technology with expert knowledge to help our clients innovate and succeed in an ever-changing world providing complex solutions to complex challenges.I started my journey with KPMG in spending my first seven years in audit, where I focused on IFRS financial statements for companies in the financial sector. That foundation helped me as I transitioned into building advisory teams for accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll. Over the years, I took on broader responsibilities, including financial risk management, internal audit, controlling, sustainability, and more. Each new challenge pushed me to grow, and I’m proud of the diverse range of services I’ve helped shape.Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of leading KPMG’s Risk Advisory & Financial Process Data Consulting departments. What excites me most is our focus on digital transformation through KPMG’s Smart Digital Finance approach. I also hold ACCA, HRA, and certified IFRS qualifications, and I’m proud to be the Lead Partner for Diversity at KPMG.For me, the most rewarding part of my role is working closely with clients and my team to create meaningful change. I believe that by working together, we can shape the future and elevate businesses through digital transformation.
