Graphic designer, layout designer, packaging designer and packaging development engineer. I am currently working on a contract basis for a company specializing in Print On Demand services, with a focus on structural packaging design. My responsibilities include: · Developing and refining constructions that are compatible with production equipment such as cartoners, gluing machines, cutting machines, and printing presses, as well as adjusting packaging materials as needed. · I also design protective solutions to ensure the safe transit of cosmetic products. · My efforts are aimed at simplifying packaging structures to enhance manufacturability and process efficiency. · Additionally, I oversee print production quality to maintain consistent, high-standard results and assist clients in achieving satisfactory packaging prints. I possess expertise in both digital and offset printing techniques. Previously, I spent six years as part of an eco-cosmetics manufacturing company. I specialized in various types of cosmetics packaging, including: · boxes, · tubes, · bottles, · flacons. My responsibilities included: · construction/layout design, · technical execution planning, · text layout creation, · maintaining communication with printing houses and paper/cardboard distributors, · overseeing printing quality, · monitoring final product quality, · ensuring compatibility of packaging construction/design with manufacturing equipment. Before that, I served as a graphic designer for Latvia's most renowned fashion and style magazine. Concurrently, I undertook private projects, fostering excellent collaborations and delivering satisfying design solutions to clients. I enjoy working with colleagues who uphold high-quality standards while executing tasks with finesse. I believe my expertise in packaging, labels, and printing could contribute to exciting design projects. By combining the design and technical sides, I can see the bigger picture and processes as a whole. Furthermore, having collaborated extensively with printing houses in Latvia, I am familiar with various effective packaging and design printing solutions, and probably I can help reduce design development costs too. My passion is - to bring design to stunning print work. Design without good printing is meaningless.
