About Agustina Thailinger

Master's degree in Economics at Universidad de San Andrés. Currently working as Education Consultant at IIEP/UNESCO in education projects in Guyana. Extensive experience in socio-economic research, economic development policy and analysis, and project management for development projects. I am known by my analytical nature, strong communication and coordination skills, professional versatility, and the ability to effectively collaborate in diverse environments. Having worked in private, public and non-governmental settings has taught me about the importance of having clear goals and working towards them in the most efficient possible way. Also, I have learned about the challenges that may arise when working on issues concerning the public domain. There will always be a trade-off between the best option and what is possible in a particular situation. I aim to find that balance. Author of various publications on education, gender, labor, family dynamics and child development, I believe in the developing world there is a need for quality work that can be translated into the design of more efficient and equitable policies and programs. I'm working towards my personal goal of having a real impact on people’s lives through high-quality research and program management.
