Background
About Ahhee Cho
Human Rights and Policy professional with a dual-degree background in International Studies from American University and Korea University. I work at the intersection of research, policy, and nonprofit advocacy, with a focus on rights-based approaches to structural challenges. My experience includes academic research and hands-on work in development strategy within human rights-focused organizations. I authored a comprehensive study on UN child protection mechanisms in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and contributed to policy work on climate financing and human rights. I have also supported grant research and foundation outreach, helping align programmatic priorities with sustainable funding strategies.I am particularly interested in roles that bridge research and advocacy, where evidence-based analysis can inform practical and rights-centered policy solutions. I look forward to engaging with professionals working in policy, advocacy, and international human rights.
