About Ahmad Akra

After a few years in electrical engineering, I realized I was more drawn to how systems connect, how data flows, and how backend processes come together to support real business operations. That’s when I started shifting my focus and building my knowledge in software and data engineering. I began learning the basics: C#, databases, scripting. Then I kept going from there. Through self-learning, hands-on projects, and certifications, I slowly built the skills I needed to land my first technical role. My first opportunity came at Vanrise, where I joined as a support engineer and got exposed to real systems, clients, and backend challenges. From there, I moved into implementation and integration, and eventually led full projects. With every role, I’ve gained more practical experience, from automating workflows to designing scalable systems and mentoring junior engineers. Today, I focus on backend integration, cloud automation, and building tools that simplify operations and make data more useful.
