About Ahmad Dolatkhahi

With over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, I am a senior civil engineer at Peace River Hydro Partners, where I lead and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders for the main civil works at Site C Project, one of the largest hydroelectric projects in Canada. I am passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet the client's requirements, budget, and schedule, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. I hold a PMP certification and a master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on hydraulics. I also have a strong background in RCC construction, technical consulting, and quality management. As a senior civil engineer, I am responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, and construction of different components of the Site C Project, such as the RCC buttress, the spillway, and the diversion tunnels. I provide technical guidance and support to the construction teams, field engineers, designers, and drafters, and resolve any design issues that arise during the project execution. I also coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project delivery. I leverage my skills in construction engineering, project planning, and project estimation to facilitate the preparation of technical and contractual documents, method statements, and progress reports. I also supervise the work on site, identify construction issues and liaise the resolution, and organize work in the laboratory to ensure proper evaluation of construction materials.
