About Ahmad Ibrahim
Having achieved an MEng from the University of Surrey in Chemical and Process Engineering, I proceeded to undergo a PhD in Engineering, conducting research revolving around the computational modelling of thermochemical conversion processes using biomass as a renewable energy source. My experience in research evolved during this time, enabling me to develop a thermochemical equilibrium model for a downdraft biomass gasifier and achieve publication through a novel research article. Additionally, I gained industrial experience within the chemical engineering industry through several industrial internships. I am currently working on an innovative project which encapsulates a partnership between a university and a company to promote hydrogen production technologies. The experience from the project will enable me to enhance my leadership and project management skills and will refine my chemical process engineering exposure.
