Background
About Ahnika Gee
I recently earned my B.S. in Astronomy & Astrophysics with minors in Biomedical Sciences, Applied Mathematics, and Space Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. My research interests lie at the intersection of astrophysics and biology—with experience ranging from studying microbiology aboard the ISS to refining gyrochronology methods for main-sequence stars.I’m currently exploring research opportunities to expand my skillset before applying to graduate programs in Astrobiology and/or Astrophysics for the upcoming year.Outside the classroom, I founded and lead the Astrophysics Research Club, mentoring students across eight independent projects, and served as head of research for the Amateur Astronomy Club. I was also the Policy Committee Chair for oSTEM and an active member of the Art Club, Crochet Club, and Women in Mathematics. If you're working in exoplanet science, astrobiology, or related fields—let’s connect!
