About Aidan Bird

I am a 4th-year computer engineering student at Ryerson University. Whether it is assembling desktop PCs, externally flashing BIOS chips, or soldering together circuits, I have always had a keen interest in computers and electronics. In particular, I am interested in C and MatLab programming, x86 assembly, Linux shell scripting, LaTeX, and studying the Japanese language. The best way to contact me is via my email; the address is on my GitHub profile.During the summer of 2019, I had an opportunity to test code for the lead software developer at the CBRE Toronto branch. With minimal supervision, I effectively communicated to the lead software developer on how to reproduce the bugs. I also wrote VBA scripts that interfaced with a tenant database to automatically generate reports. During the fall of 2019, I completed an online introductory course in machine learning offered by Coursera. In this course, I learned and implemented basic machine learning algorithms. This course inspired me to pursue a minor in mathematics at Ryerson University. During my studies, I took extra courses in statistics, numerical analysis, and linear algebra.
