About Aidan Comerford

Currently working as a Maintenance Planner in Pfizer. My main responsibilities are: • Planning and assisting in scheduling maintenance work to enable effective preventative maintenance in a GMP environment, • Assisting in the development, implementation, and daily upkeep of CMMS, • Ordering parts/materials to ensure planned maintenance can be executed on time as to not hinder operations/production, and • Working closely with different departments to ensure PM targets are met on schedule seamlessly My work ethic was put to the test to earn my BA degree in business and economics. In university I took courses in Human Resources, IT, Business Ethics, Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Strategic Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics and International Trade. My studies have inspired an interest in human resources and business administration. I have attained my Masters in Human Resource Management in Technological University Dublin, a programme that is at the forefront of Human Resource Management theory and practice today and also meets the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) professional requirements. I have considerable experience in dealing with people at all levels, both in person and over the telephone. Through this process, I have developed excellent interpersonal skills and I can consistently maintain a truly sincere and cheerful disposition. I am equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Other competencies include: planning and organising; multi-tasking; and resourcefulness. My competitive nature fuels an insatiable desire to keep learning to better meet future challenges.
