One of Wegman’s popular items is the “ready to cook” meals; a meal plan including a variety of fish, steaks, and chicken entrees. My job was to cook these meals in the store, in front of the customers, and serve them samples of the meal. The challenge and benefit of this job was learning to cook but also teaching people and interacting with customers. Including a lot of problem solving and trying to pitch sales of the product. It gave me good communications skills and taught me quality customer service. In addition I learned about public health sanitation and food safety, something very important right now. Also I really enjoy food prep and cooking. I cook at home a lot as a result of the year I had in this job and I like working with people. I left my job because my band was recording an album my last summer and I was moving to Boston for college, but overall it was a good job that I enjoyed a lot and would be happy to work in the food industry again. Chipotle (Line cook, prep, and close, Boston, Ma) I spent 6 months working here during college to have more time outside of online zoom school. Good communication skills practice and long food shifts open and closing. Learned: Cooking and food prep, social skills and talking to customers, Register, knowledge about about sales, and being cooperative and rational in stressful social situations. Berklee Office of Registrar Assistant 2022-Present Started working in Berklee Registrar’s offices as an assistant. Job requires filing transcripts, answering phone calls and emails for students regarding any official transcript and admissions issues. Job includes problem solving and dealing with stressed and frustrated students. Requires lots of on the spot thinking and working under pressure MUSIC RELATED Studying at Berklee College of Music currently focusing on Songwriting and Production. I spent several months in an apprenticeship with Titletown Sounds in Boston learning the in’s and outs of modern music production mostly using Logic but also well versed in Ableton and Pro Tools Recorded and produced several EP’s, singles and albums.
