About Aidan Gale

Hello, my name is Aidan Gale, and I am a junior at Indiana University majoring in Informatics with a focus on security. In addition to my major, I am pursuing a minor in Intelligence Studies. I believe that this combination of major and minor will put me in a unique position to secure our nation's technological infrastructure against cyberthreats. Moreover, I was a varsity football athlete and the captain of the baseball team in high school. Sports have instilled in me discipline, persistence, and teamwork, which I carry over to academia. I believe that the same work ethic applies both in sports and in achieving academic goals. I have had the opportunity to serve my community in multiple ways throughout high school and I enjoyed all of the opportunities that were given to me. One of my most memorable experiences was the opportunity to work with the special needs students at my school and help them develop their academic and social skills. Ultimately, I chose Indiana University because of the robust and specialized curriculum they have to offer for my major and minor. I believe it will provide me the hands-on training necessary to develop my skills to become a competitive candidate in the industry.
