About Aidan Kerr

Aidan Kerr is a hardworking individual with extensive experience working as both a laborer and in many different roles in the world of film. Currently, he is attending BCIT in their Television & Film Production program and is graduating in May 2020. He is a passionate individual who has worked on many student films, both as a grip, assistant director, and also as an audio technician. Aidan is currently working on a student film titled "Parting of the Ways" doing both production and post-production audio. Through his knowledge of programs such as the Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Cloud, Avid editing software, and the Microsoft Office suite, Aidan is able to work diligently and respectfully both by himself or in a group setting while also bringing a fresh and creative mindset to whatever project he is apart of. Some inspirations for Aidan in the audio world that sparked his passion to work in the audio industry are Bruce Botnick for his work mixing the album "LA Woman" for "The Doors", Bruce Swedien as he has done many works with both Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson, and also the film "Wall-E" for its masterfully constructed sound design. Aidan has aspirations of working full time in either a production or post-production audio department, he hopes his professional attitude and computer and field skills can translate seamlessly into the film industry.
