About Aidan Scott

We live in a time when digital technology and media consumption has never been more accessible and influential. Its evolution was parallel to mine: I’ve grown up captivated by the intricate, complex, and creative landscape of media. Literature or film, music or television, media has shaped my identity and how I connect with the world. For this reason, I am a Bachelor of Media Studies graduate and a current Master of Management student at the University of British Columbia. Thus far, I have had the professional and academic privilege of experiencing various disciplines, including marketing, creative writing (screen + comedy), information visualization, HCI, data analytics, film production, accounting, finance, and programming. Through roles in marketing and public relations, I’ve applied these skills in real-world contexts which has deepened my understanding and appreciation for storytelling, brand management and audience engagement. I’m inspired to continue my growth as a curious, creative, and confident leader in the media industries. With that said, I am eager to find opportunities that contribute to and engage with the entertainment sector, namely film and television.
