About Aidan Smith

I am currently completing a level 3 data specialist apprenticeship which finishes in December 2023 at Parkwood Hall Co-Operative Academy, partnered with QA apprenticeships. I am based in the Human resources department in my workplace, where I am gaining experience in the wellbeing and safeguarding of staff; the recruitment process including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and hiring; and staff contracts, payroll and references. The content I am currently studying in my courses outside of the workplace including: GDPR compliance, basic PowerBI skills, data cleansing, data validation, data visualisation, data storytelling, data inputting and much more. I previously studied for my GCSEs at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar school where I attained a Grade 7 in Maths and Computer Science. I have a clear vision for my future career and wish to progress in a field related to Data Analytics and/or programming. I am a keen mathematician and have demonstrated an advance set of abilities in this area throughout my educational life.
