I am a recent MSc graduate in the field of Molecular Biology. While originally, in my undergrad years I was involved in the more classical lab work, I found myself gravitating towards more data related work during my honours and MSc degrees. This lead me to my MSc thesis. Which involved the de novo assembly of Crocuta crocuta (spotted hyena) transcriptomic data and subsequent analysis therein. At this point I’m eager to expand my knowledge base and expand on the skills I picked up over the course of my post-graduate degrees.
