About Aidee Zuno

Aidee Zuno spearheads "Mothers Rising for Guaranteed Basic Income," an initiative dedicated to empowering mothers who are often excluded from our current system. Born to immigrant parents in South LA, Aidee's work is profoundly shaped by her community’s legacy of resilience in the face of systemic oppression. Aidee has developed an unwavering commitment to social justice, reimagining current systems championing economic justice and equitable criminal justice reforms to eliminate disparities for marginalized communities, all in pursuit of true justice for all. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. She co-founded South Central Sisters, a collective that empowers women of color to become change agents within their communities. Aidee is a Solis Policy Institute Fellow at the Women’s Foundation California.
