About Aiden Arnold

After 7 years in the Navy I have decided it is time to move on to the next chapter of my life, and I couldn't be more excited! I am currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. As an E-5 Fire Control Technician I was fortunate enough to work on one of the most advanced weapons systems the Military has to offer, the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System. I have experience working on classified databases up to a Top Secret level using both windows 10 server and Linux Red Hat operating systems. I am experienced in using established preventative maintenance procedures to keep gear operating at peak efficiency and was routinely told by system engineers that I had the best maintained equipment they had seen. I have an aptitude for solving problems and am well versed in using electrical and mechanical schematics as well as complex wiring diagrams and technical publications to troubleshoot equipment. Managing my team of 5 junior technicians was some of the most fun I had and through our combined efforts we maintained the highest scores and performance out of 5 other teams in 2 different areas of operation. My peers would most likely describe me as having a diverse skill set. Along side my primary duties I also held a leadership position for the ships at sea fire party, coordinating training and leading a team of sailors in the no fail task of fire fighting and damage control. I was also a member of the ships Visit Board Search and Seizure Team. A high speed and high stress job which resulted in my ships team securing the largest drug bust in our assigned area of operations. Prior to the Navy I worked as a PADI Divemaster in the state of CO. There I assisted in the certification and training of new divers, led groups of divers on open water dives and led Discover diving classes. I am a fast learner and always eager to try something new. I'm looking forward to the opportunities that await in my future!
