About Aiden Jackman

As an experienced professional with a background in education, I lead the design and delivery of key mental health and wellbeing initiatives across the AFL landscape. My work includes managing projects such as the implementation of psychometric assessments within the AFL Talent Pathway, advancing the continuous improvement of the Talent Pathways Wellbeing Framework, and coordinating the AFL Youth Advisory Group. I also lead the organisation of the annual Player Development and Wellbeing Industry Gathering, fostering cross-sector collaboration and shared learning across the industry. In addition to my national work, I serve as the Wellbeing Coordinator for the Tasmania Devils, where I deliver the AFL Talent Pathways Wellbeing Framework and support individual players to develop the skills needed to thrive both on and off the field. I’m passionate about embedding holistic, evidence-informed approaches to player development and creating sustainable systems that support wellbeing in elite sporting environments.
