About Aiden Ross

I first started my coding and technological career when I was in high school. One course I took offered web design tools, such as HTML, CSS, and overall network protocols. Our final project was to create an online portfolio that is presentable to any potential employers. My website portrayed such a strong understanding of code and readability, while creating a sleek and modern interface, that this teacher continued to use my website (long after I graduated) as the example of what can be obtained from the knowledge presented in the course. Before I attended Purdue Fort Wayne, I studied Computer Science and Informatics at Indiana University Bloomington for two years. During my time at Indiana University, I learned and developed a multitude of skills and abilities that I believe makes me an excellent candidate for. I am proficient in Object-Oriented Design languages and concepts, as I am fluent with Java, C/C++, Python, HTML/CSS, and SQL. My experience at IP Solutions in Mishawaka Indiana has been the most influential and beneficial job experience to date. I learned first-hand how I can apply what I have learned in the classroom to a business environment. This experience taught me how to be professional when dealing with clients, working on a project with peers (and independently) with a deadline, and what it means to be an intern. IP Solutions taught me that being an intern means soaking in as much information as possible, maintaining communication with supervisors and superiors, and showing others that you are always up to the challenge. These skills can be applied to this position, as well as other positions within the company that may be presented in the future. Holding this position showed me what is expected from an intern, a supervisor, and how my role benefits and contributes to the overall mission and purpose of a company. These skills make me the perfect candidate for this position because I am proud of the work I put forth. I believe that no product or service of mine should be anything less than exemplary. I take pride in my work, possess exemplary skills in communication with others, and know many diverse computer languages and programs.
