From designing structures to engineering software, my career path has been driven by a passion for building robust, efficient solutions. My background in Civil Engineering provided me with a strong foundation in analytical thinking, project organisation, and seeing the bigger picture – skills I now apply to the world of software development. Several years ago, I decided to transition into IT, drawn by the dynamic nature of technology and the challenge of crafting elegant code. I immersed myself in learning and quickly found my niche in full-stack development, with a particular focus on Ruby on Rails.
