About Ailee K.

Currently, I work for the Sacramento Police Department in the Forensic Science Division. I respond out to follow up calls for service to document injuries, process scenes for fingerprints, and collect items of evidence. I completed 480 hour CSI Academy that consisted of classroom and hands on training, followed by a fifteen week field training portion. The training ranged from processing for latent prints, documenting injuries and scenes, to packaging evidence.Previously, I worked at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office where I used my proven communications and administrative skills to assist the Deputy District Attorney's (DDA) in Consolidated Intake Division. I was the first person agencies would see when they walked into our office and it was my job to figure out if they are dropping off reports, presenting their case to a DDA, or walking through a warrant request. Previously, I was a coroner technician for the Sacramento County Coroner's office assisted during autopsy as well as body removals. I graduated with a M.S. from Chaminade University’s Criminal Justice Administration in the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor’s Society. Prior to that, I earned B.S. in Forensics Science with a Minor in Criminal Justice also Chaminade University. I have completed internships at the Honolulu Police Department in the Scientific Investigation Section, Sacramento County Coroner's Office, and The Department of Attorney General's Office. My strengths include working with bio-waste and bio-hazards, statistical based research, working under pressure, and teamwork. Also, I pride myself to be teachable and adaptable to new environments.
