About Aileen Marquez

I am a Director of Development at GreenLatinos, a national environmental and climate justice organization that creates platforms for Latinx communities to influence policy and practice. With over seven years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I am passionate about helping small and medium-sized organizations achieve their missions and goals through fractional fundraising. Fractional fundraising is a different kind of consulting that focuses on strategic implementation rather than just giving advice. As the founder of Marquez Giving Strategies, I offer experienced and personalized support to nonprofits that need to access funding sources, build relationships, and communicate their impact. My core competencies include strategic partnerships, development, engagement, and strategic communications. I have a certificate in nonprofit leadership from Boston College, a business for impact certificate from Georgetown University, and multiple micro-credentials from the Chief of Staff Association. I am also fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, and have experience in event planning and cross-cultural collaboration.
