I started my career as a Junior Recruitment Consultant, which gave me the confidence to pursue an opportunity with City Calling as a Recruitment Resourcer. This has proven to be a really good move and I am proud of how much I am learning and developing in the industry. When I started, I was unsure if I would be able to grasp the fast-paced side of the business, but I was up for the challenge and I’m so pleased I went with it. During my time with City Calling, I have received the right training and encouragement, which has helped me to adapt the way I work and stay ahead of the curve. The candidates I am in contact with say I am the friendliest recruiter they have come across. I believe having a respectful and positive relationship with them goes a long way, as they often go the extra mile to deliver beyond what is expected on our sites. Our success in the industry depends on the satisfaction of both our clients and the candidates we place. Before I leave each day, I make sure I supersede my targets as well as ensuring everyone is satisfied, as this is what determines our reputation in this industry. I find it easy to work towards building strong bonds, as I believe in what we do and the way we work. I like to check in frequently with both groups to find out how things are going, as they should be mutually beneficial to each other and it is my job to make sure this happens. In the long term, I want to be at the forefront of our growth. I can see our business taking off and reaching new heights. I would like to be a part of leading the way, with our team by my side, progressing with me. Financial freedom is something I strive for and I believe this can be achieved with a solid work ethic and can-do attitude, which is directly correlated with my goals. Outside of City Calling I also enjoy being creative and I like to explore my artistic side, which gives me a good balance and stops me going crazy.
