About Aimee Alspaugh

As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Northern British Columbia, I have learned many valuable skills. I completed a course in Entrepreneurialism; this coursework involved the conception and completion of a sophisticated business proposal. Upon the conclusion of this course, my team received The Entrepreneurship Award at UNBC, awarded for the most outstanding business proposal. I also completed Business Strategy and Advanced Financial Management. These courses required analytical, research and problem-solving skills in order to ascertain the relevant information, find any missing information and provide viable solutions. My position as General Manager at the Prince George Agricultural and Historical Association helped me to develop strong interpersonal skills. I have excellent planning and management skills as I have event planned the annual British Columbia Northern Exhibition in Prince George for three years. The position required the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment; therefore, I am able to efficiently resolve challenging situations. I am passionate about making a difference within the world of business by building healthy communities through economic development, in a mature and professional manner.
