About Aimee Butler
I just graduated with honors in biochemistry with chemistry and psychology minors at the University of Iowa. I did cancer research in Dr. Spitz lab from 2018-2023, and I have 1 co-author publication. I have presented my research at four local poster sessions and one national conference. I received the ICRU summer research program in 2018 and the Biomedical Scholar Summer Undergraduate Research Program in 2019 and 2020. I loved tutoring general chemistry, principles of chemistry 1 and 2, organic chemistry 1 and 2 with lab, and biochemistry in my time at Iowa. Post graduation I started a position as head of the radiation core at the University of Iowa where I managed all radiation research. I am currently a chemist at Labcorp Drug Development in Madison, Wisconsin. I am working with radio labeled metabolites and metabolite identification.
