About Aimee Goodwin

Aimee Goodwin is a co-founder and Director of Project 12 Architecture. She has more than two decades of experience designing educational, residential and public buildings. As well as exemplary urban and coastal residential projects, Aimee has developed a niche in award-winning educational buildings; placing the occupant first, and providing considered, calm and welcoming spaces. Before establishing Project 12 Architecture, she worked with leading Australian firm John Wardle Architects (Melbourne) and with British architects Squire and Partners (London). Aimee has a Bachelor of Planning and Design, Bachelor of Property and Construction and a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons.) from the University of Melbourne. Aimee has taught regularly at the Melbourne School of Design, at the University of Melbourne in both Master of Architecture Design Studios and Construction Subjects. She sits on the Victorian Chapter Council of the Australian Institute of Architects and is past chair of the Practice of Architecture Committee (POAC) in Victoria. She was also co-chair of the Small Practice forum from 2019–2022. Project 12 Architecture’s portfolio of work has seen the firm recognised as an Emerging Architectural Firm in Houses Magazine Awards and in Habitus Living’s House of the Year. Meadows Primary School received a commendation in the 2023 Victorian Architecture Awards for Educational Architecture. Cowes Primary School was awarded best school between $5-10M in the 2022 Victorian School Design Awards.
