About Aimee Linfield

With over seven years of experience in managing and delivering Pride in Practice, a national programme that supports healthcare professionals to provide culturally competent care to LGBTQ+ patients, I am passionate about advancing equality and inclusion in the health sector. As the current Programme Manager at LGBT Foundation, I have overseen the transformation of the programme from a regional to a national model, designied processes, managed budgets, secured contracts, and provide leadership to a growing team.My core competencies include communication, relationship building, and performance management, which I have demonstrated through developing and implementing comprehensive training programmes, producing research and reports on LGBTQ+ patient experience, and managing accounts and partnerships with primary care services across the UK. I hold a proficient level of English (EFSET C2) and a working knowledge of Spanish, as well as two ILM diplomas in management and team leadership. I am also interested in copywriting, social media, sport, and well being.Outside of work I'm an active member of Manchester Roller Derby where I'm currently Captain of the B team. In my spare time I enjoy creative pursuits such as designing digital art and working on a novel.
