About Aimee McLaughlin

As the Data and Strategic Initiatives Manager at the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), I oversee the execution of the Division of Health and Wellness's primary state-level data collection and reporting efforts. With over five years of experience in this role, I have successfully managed multiple contracts with outside vendors, coordinated timelines and systems requirements, and provided school support related to health data collection. My mission is to use data to remove health barriers to learning and ensure equal access to educational and public health resources for our youth. I have a strong background in youth development, program evaluation, and policy research, and I am certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP)®. I also have skills in web content management, communication, and writing, which I leverage to disseminate the findings and recommendations from our data projects to various stakeholders and audiences.
