About Aimee Stanton

For the last 4 years I've worked for Elevance Health formerly Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. I worked in their customer service department for 3 years. During that time I gained a considerable amount of knowledge on health insurance benefits and plans, authorizations, medical codes, the appeals process and claims. I was then promoted to their WFM department where I learned about call center operations. Then finally I transferred to the claims department where I gained more claims knowledge. My goal is to one day use everything I've learned in the health insurance industry to help out medical facilities such as doctor's offices and hospitals get the authorizations, benefits and billing. I want to help providers navigate through the confusing world of Health Insurance to help their patients get the best care possible.
