Hi, I’m Aimee. I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently working for Igloo Books in the UK and I am very passionate when it comes to creating exciting products for others across various demographics. In my current role get to work across lots of different licenses including Disney and Marvel. I create books and develop new products for many global brands that I love, which can be hugely rewarding. Other exciting licenses that i have worked with including WWE, Lucasfilm, Hasbro, Mattel, large professional sports associations and TV companies, plus many more. My work has also allowed me to design and develop brands from concept stages, seeing them through to becoming fully completed products, which I am immensely proud of. I’m a graduate of Visual Communication, a design degree that allowed me to explore a vast array of creative outlets but I naturally went down an illustrative/graphic route. I am confident and energetic, always making sure that I am developing my craft. I immerse myself in pop culture, constantly drawing inspiration and creating engaging artwork that people instantly connect with. Some of my key strengths include: 8 years experience working in the creative and licensing sector as a Graphic Designer. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design (inc.CC22) Excellent understanding of licensed products including using style guides/brand guidelines. Thinking creatively to generate and develop innovative new products, formats and activities. Vast knowledge of digital print as well as web based marketing and multimedia. Skilled in both technical and non-technical illustration. Competent use of motion graphic software including After Effects. Mac and PC literate, including use of Microsoft Office products across both platforms.
