About Aino Makkonen

I’m a service designer and design doer, out to create delightful and impactful experiences. In addition to service design, my background in international business, digital, strategy, brand and marcomms operations from both the private and public sectors has given me somewhat of a holistic view on design and business. Love human insights & hard data, strive for creative use of them. I look at the world with one eye that's strategic and one that's empathetic. Being able to create tangible, useful and meaningful work is the goal here. Great design is no magic tricks, just plain work with an always solving mentality and genuine enthusiasm. I actually love what I do for living, things usually tend to turn out just fine, people are worth trusting, the world is my oyster etc.
