Hello! my name is Aisha. I am a Photographer, Content Creator, Blogger, and Designer. I have over 10 years of experience working & volunteering in various Customer-oriented roles, Sales, Freelance, and Social Media Marketing positions plus I studied Marketing Management and User Experience (UX). With a UX Design Diploma at BrainStation, I am excited to apply my new skills towards my career path. I love human-centered design as it allows me to use empathy and develop meaningful designs to help others, as well as express my creativity from my education and background in Marketing and my Photography Business. I have become quickly skilled in UX research, Wireframing, Prototyping, and Design Thinking to impact the engagement of Apps & Web Applications. Design has always stood out to me due to its empathetic and artistic nature and how it can be an outlet for me to express my background, research, and problem-solving skills as well as my experience working in teams towards a common goal. Previously, being in Senior Customer Service roles and managing a team, I learned the importance of building strong communication skills in any team I work with. I currently also run my own personal blog utilizing and strengthening my skills in SEO, email marketing and Google Analytics. When I am not working, you can find me hiking in the mountains, expanding my knowledge by reading books as well as developing my photography skills by helping small businesses outside of work. I am passionate about my hobbies as they allow me to get outdoors to decompress and I can constantly work on improving myself.
