About Aisha Abdullahi

Strategic communications specialist with six years experience on CVE, security and peacebuilding in the Horn and East Africa region. I’m passionate about the role of communication in security and policy development. I have worked with USAID through ME & A Inc, to conduct an evaluation on CVE projects in parts of Kenya. I have also worked with different stakeholders to create messaging that promote security, governance and peacebuilding, including producing Somali Discussion Forums on the above fields in Somalia. While security and peacebuilding require local and international interventions, communication, I believe plays an integral part in their realization. I recently completed my coursework and dissertatiob for MA Global Security and Strategy at SOAS, University of London. I am open to more assignments and challenges to further contribute to ensuring a safer ans peaceful environment for future generations.
