About Aisha Uppal

I am a certified Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant. I have over 10 years of experience in working with clients with complex injuries and disabilities, such as brain injuries, concurrent disorders, and developmental disorders. I am passionate about providing patient-focused care and psychosocial support for clients and their families. I have developed strong competencies in cognitive remediation, community reintegration, anxiety management, and informal counselling. I am a highly effective team player, who collaborates with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, case managers, and psychologists. I am also a lifelong learner, who is always looking to further my skillset through self-learning and professional development. I am currently pursuing my passion of Mental Health, by studying a postgraduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health. My goal is to help clients achieve their highest level of functional independence and quality of life.
