About Aishling Okeeffe

I am a Senior Associate in Assurance in PwC Cork. I passed my CAP 2 & FAE exams on first attempt with Chartered Accountants Ireland. I have worked on FRS 102 companies in the education, construction, retail, hospitality & healthcare industries as well as IFRS consolidated accounts for a multinational IT company. I completed BSc Accounting in UCC achieving a First Class Honours grade. I completed 7 months of work placement in the Assurance department in PwC Cork in 2019. I worked for 3 summers and part time in the Audit department of Moore Cork during college. I am a proficient user of Microsoft Office and I have a certificate for ECDL. I have a Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action from NUIG through Foroige. I was awarded a Presidents Medal for Leadership from Macra in 2021 & 2022. I am currently Munster Macra Vice President, helping the 11 regions in Munster with recruitment, development, etc. I serve on the Macra National Council & Macra Board, I also sit on the National Rural Youth Committee & chair its Inclusivity Sub-Committee as well as chairing the Safeguarding Sub-Committee of the Board. Previously I have held the positions of Chair & Secretary of Avondhu; Chair & PRO of Cork County; and President, Chair & PRO of my club, Banteer Macra. I play Camogie for Banteer Junior Camogie team. I come from an agricultural background & I work on our family dairy & beef farm. I am currently undertaking the Green Cert with Salesian Ag College, Pallaskenry.
