As a Senior Quant Analytics Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co, I apply my data science and business analysis skills to support the firm's quantitative investment strategies and risk management. I work with a team of experts to research and analyze historical and current market data, develop and test models and algorithms, and generate insights and recommendations for portfolio optimization and performance improvement. I have a Master's degree in Information Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I gained a solid foundation in data analytics, machine learning, and R programming. I also assisted several MBA courses on business analytics, where I helped students learn and apply various tools and techniques for data visualization, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling. Additionally, I have completed multiple certifications on business analytics from Coursera, demonstrating my continuous learning and passion for the field. One of my interests is the psychological impacts of social media, which I explored in a project on sentiment analysis of Twitter news. I used natural language processing and machine learning to classify tweets as fake or real news, and to measure the emotional reactions of users to different types of news. I also analyzed the behavioral patterns and biases of users, and how they affect the spread and perception of information online. I enjoy connecting the dots: be it ideas from different disciplines, people from different teams, or applications from different industries. I believe that data analytics can help solve complex and diverse problems, and create value and opportunities for innovation and growth. I am always eager to learn new technologies and skills, and to collaborate with others who share my enthusiasm for data.
