I am a highly driven and motivated marketing professional with versatile experience in B2B and product marketing, as well as internal digital transformation. I have a certificate in full-stack web development from Carleton University. My pronouns are she/her. I speak 4 languages, 1 fluently (English), 2 at a conversation level (French and Mandarin Chinese), and beginner Luxembourgish (currently A2.2). I have worked on international teams with people from 5 continents. I previously taught cross-cultural communication skills to business professionals targeting positions in America, Germany, China, and Japan. I was born in Canada to parents who immigrated from Ireland, lived in China for 4 years in my early 20's, and spent 6 months in New York City before moving back to Canada for 3 years. I now live in Luxembourg permanently. I enjoy cultural experiences and learning new things to love about the people who make up our vast global community. I am politically progressive. Some people think LinkedIn is not the right place for politics, but I disagree. Life is political, and we spend much of our lives at work. When people's rights to exist and thrive are infringed by the government and businesses who use their influence on governmental policy, then the lines between professionalism and personal life become blurred. I stand for 2SLGBTQ+ rights, Land Back, Black Lives Matter, Climate Justice, Decolonization, and other movements that will help lead our world into a more equal, healthier, and greener future. I am not a perfect ally but I work to recognize where I can improve and to make positive changes in my behaviour, including in my professional life.
