About Aisling Murphy

I have recently graduated with an Honours Degree in Applied Tax and prior to that I obtained my Diploma in Applied Tax. I have completed a Master of Arts Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Accounting and Finance. Continuous assessment contributed a great deal to our final mark and it was necessary to prioritise my work and work to deadlines. I also completed a computer module which involved working with Sage and Excel. My work experience includes a number of positions in the Revenue Commissioners and Social Welfare. In these roles I developed a broad range of skills including dealing with clients, working as part of a team, computer skills including work with different databases as well as developing an ability to work on my own initiative. I am a hardworking and dedicated professional. I have demonstrated excellent time management & organisation skills especially when completing my degrees and the Royal Irish Academy exams in Piano, Cello, and Speech and Drama. Added to this, I play cello in the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland and have travelled with the orchestra to play in venues worldwide such as the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall. These experiences have given me confidence in myself and my abilities. They also prove my motivation and dedication.
