About Aisling Sharkey

I am working as a Financial Accountant for WiseTech Global. This role consists of owning 3 ledgers in the ANZ region and being responsible for month and year end closure, as well as helping with Group accounting such as Intercompany Debt Forgiveness and FX revaluation on cash for the ANZ region. I have previously worked as a Finance Analyst at CLX Professionals and as a Senior Risk Consultant at KPMG. I am a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and have a degree in International Commerce with Spanish from University College Dublin. Through my role with KPMG, I gained experience working within Internal Audit, Remediation, Compliance, Communication, and IT support working with a broad range of clients across multiple industries such as Aviation, Banking, Energy, Utilities & Telecom, Healthcare, Insurance, and others. I have experience supervising and training junior staff, managing workstream's, presenting to wider forums and problem solving. In my role with CLX I was responsible for building, maintaining and reporting on financial forecasts for 2 major programs. In Ireland, I volunteered on a 2-year mentorship program through KPMG which connected me with a school close to where I worked. I am looking forward to connecting with other professionals and continuously learning about both my industry and others.
