Moved to Wales and worked for Alzeim Ltd, a pharmaceutical company based in Brecon, before joining Penderyn Distillery in 2012 as a Trainee Distiller & Blender. I honed skills working for many years alongside the great Master Distiller Dr. Jim Swan and now is responsible for making all of Penderyn Distillery’s award-winning single malts. As a Master Blender, I am a dedicated craftsman with a deep passion for the art of flavor creation. My expertise lies in selecting, combining, and aging spirits to craft exceptional blends that reflect both tradition and innovation. With a refined palate and years of experience, I meticulously balance aromas, tastes, and textures, ensuring each product tells a unique story. My work is a harmonious blend of science, artistry, and intuition, striving always for perfection in every bottle I create. As General Manager of Blending and Maturation, I lead with a vision for excellence, overseeing the intricate processes that transform raw spirits into masterpieces. Combining strategic leadership with a deep understanding of blending and aging, I ensure that every stage of production upholds the highest standards of quality and consistency. My role bridges tradition and innovation, managing teams, resources, and timelines to deliver exceptional products.
