What do you want to be when you grow up?" When I was a kid, my answer almost every time was an actress/model/singer/veterinarian/astronaut… and yes I meant simultaneously, I wanted to be all of those things. Even now, I can't pick just one thing—I have an appreciation for many paths, and this has shaped my diverse interests and skill set. This wide range of interests led me to study marketing at Rutgers University, where I found a passion for creative problem-solving, blending both logic and creativity. I explored everything from marketing campaigns to data analytics and SEO. The variety of possibilities excites me, as it allows me to be adaptable and find innovative solutions to challenges, but it also leaves me wondering: How do I focus my talents in one clear direction? What I’ve learned is that being multifaceted is an asset. My ability to approach challenges from different angles gives me a unique perspective and a flexible mindset. I have even been praised and thanked for utilizing this skill by my employers, teachers, and coworkers. But I also know that finding focus is key to making the most of my talents. That's why I’m seeking connections with mentors and professionals who can share how they found their own niche and how they balance varied interests in their careers.
