Even after 27 years of professional outside sales experience in the greater Seattle area, I am continually absorbing and refining the tools I have acquired along the way. The list includes but not limited to, strong communication and negotiation abilities, the ability to build and maintain relationships, self-motivation and discipline, and knowledge of the industry and products/services being sold. Additionally, having a strong understanding of my target market and being able to adapt my sales approach to different types of customers has been the key to my success. I also consider myself a good listener, honest, attentive to detail, ambitious and most importantly, I have patience and empathy. If I cannot connect with my clients at some level, then perhaps I am not the right sales rep for your needs. I believe in building relationships not just "making a sale". I've always strived to be excellent in whatever I do, but with a "novice" mentality. I am ALWAYS open and willing to learn more and be more than I was yesterday. I strive for continual progress and not unattainable perfection. When I fall, I fall forward, get back up and try again. This attitude has helped me to achieve success in every aspect of my life.
