About AJ: Years ago, I struggled with the absence of a father my entire childhood, a diagnosis of ADHD, repeated failure in school, anger management issues, gang, criminal, and violent activities. I'm so fortunate that I had a few special teachers who took a chance on me during my high school years and didn't give up on me despite my efforts to make them give up! halfway through my high school journey, it clicked, and a transformation happened that allowed me to go from being behind on credits to graduating early. Life outside of high school continued to challenge me into adulthood, but the desire to be better along with additional mentors along the way, helped me to become a successful husband, friend, entrepreneur, mentor, and coach. And today I am the CEO of AJ Heath & Associates, which is an educational and business consulting firm. When you, your students, or your team meet me, they will be certain they CAN control their life and future when they learn to control THEMSELF!
