About Aj Herrera

As a senior in Business: Management at Juniata College, I am passionate about community-oriented and healthcare-related careers. I have a strong foundation in leadership, ethics, marketing, and psychology, thanks to my diverse and interdisciplinary coursework at Juniata and Shih Chien University in Taiwan, where I studied International Business for a semester. I am also a proud recipient of the nationally-competitive Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship and the HUAYU Best Scholarship by the Taiwan Ministry of Education, which demonstrate my academic excellence and global outlook. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and have limited proficiency in French and Chinese, which enable me to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. In addition, I have gained valuable skills and experience in supporting campus and community operations and well-being as a Resident Assistant at Juniata College and a Barista at STANDING STONE COFFEE COMPANY, where I have demonstrated responsibility, teamwork, and customer service. Both my time in Juniata College and Shih Chien University allowed me to be focused on interdisciplinary areas like Leadership, Ethics, Marketing, and Psychology, providing a strong foundation for HR roles.
