About Aj Marks
I host and produce the podcast Main Pod Girl, where I talk with popstars, hit songwriters, high-profile journalists and popular music content creators about our shared love for pop music. I've also been running the Reddit community Popheads for 3 years now, and in that time, our user base has grown by over to over 2.2 million subscribers. I started working in the music industry at age 10 as the lead singer of the Guinness World Record-setting rock band Black Diamonds, and since then have played on hundreds of stages around the world as a frontman, as a solo artist, and as a backing singer. In 2016, I moved from Boston, Massachusetts to the UK, where I lived for 7 years. In that time, I started songwriting for other artists, hosted a radio show and founded a podcast company. I also work part time in restaurants and freelance for WMA Talent Agency, but I'm currently looking to relocate to London, New York, Nashville or Los Angeles for a full-time position in PR, radio or at record labels.
