About Aj Pryor

Punchline: I'm a strategic builder of tech ventures, and I love all aspects and challenges associated with that. I'm an entrepreneurial tech executive, data scientist, high-performance computing (HPC) engineer, full stack developer, data engineer, and Ph.D. physicist who brings expertise in building high performing teams in addition to data/software engineering, data science, cloud-native applications (especially with GCP), performance optimization, process engineering, and automated DevOps. My passion lies at the intersection of analytics, business strategy, data science, and human collaboration. I conceive, implement, and deploy data-driven applications for the purpose of driving enterprise value and solving challenging technical problems. I build and contribute to open-source projects. I bring together talented people, build team culture, and help technology companies succeed. I thrive on leading high-performing teams, strategic planning, and creating sustainable ventures. Much of my background is in advanced mathematics/algorithms/analytics, and I am at my best and most fulfilled when solving hard problems. I'm process-oriented (but pragmatic with where to add process), an approach that enables me to implement successful organizational workflows that drive impactful change and achieve meaningful outcomes. I’m passionate about technology and innovation and am dedicated to transforming ideas into reality and making a lasting impact in the tech industry. In addition to applied data science, I'm interested Formula One racing, real estate, cooking, playing the guitar and piano, and learning languages (both coded and spoken!)
