About Aj Richman

I am a trial attorney in the North Georgia area. I was a former sex-crimes prosecutor and has developed a niche in cases involving cell phones, forensic computer searches, and social media evidence. I have received acquittals and dismissals for numerous clients charged with crimes by using my expertise and knowledge in these fields. I've appeared on CNN, WSB-TV, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Daily Report, and the Huffington Post. I'm the past-President of the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Association and a GACDL sustaining member. Outside of litigation, I am an active campaign consultant and chair with judicial, Gubernatorial, and other political elections. Prior to representing those individuals charged with committing a crime, I was a felony prosecutor in Lumpkin County and White County, and senior misdemeanor prosecutor in Forsyth County. With grant funding provided by the federal government, while working in Lumpkin and White counties I was tasked with prosecuting crimes involving domestic violence, as well as crimes concerning child physical and sexual abuse. I graduated from the Florida State University College of Law with honors cum laude and received several academic awards in each year of school. In college (also at FSU), I was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
